Hareline Diamond Braid Holo
Hareline Diamond Braid Holo is a continuous braid with a holographic finish for building fly bodies and segmented sections. Wrapped on the hook shank, it produces an even surface, while the holographic reflection changes as the viewing angle changes. Use it for small midge imitations, streamers and Bonefish flies.
Construction and use
Tie in the braid at the rear of the body and advance it in controlled, even wraps. When creating segments, leave planned divisions or mark them with a separate thread wrap; the material can also be used as ribbing. Secure the front with several thread turns, trim the excess and finish the head. Avoid excessive tension so the braid retains its regular structure. Select the wrapping method according to the hook size and the body profile required by the pattern.
- Form: continuous braid for wrapping on the shank.
- Finish: holographic reflection visible from changing angles.
- Technique: even wraps for bodies, segments or ribbing.
- Uses: midges, streamers and Bonefish flies.
