Hareline Dura Flash Tubing

Hareline Dura Flash Tubing is hollow braided tubing for forming fly bodies and streamer profiles. Its pearl finish produces a gradual change in sheen as the viewing angle changes. Slipped over a prepared underbody, it creates a smooth reflective body while allowing the tier to control the final shape through the form beneath it.

Construction and use

Select the tubing by the diameter of the prepared underbody and the profile you want to build. Leave enough material beyond both tie-in points, slide the braid over the underbody, and secure it at the hook shank. Stretching narrows the tubing and lengthens its braid, while compression widens it; the underbody supplies the finished profile. Tie off the ends firmly, trim the excess, and seal or bind the cut edges against fraying. The material can cover a complete body or be arranged over selected sections to create a segmented streamer or fly pattern.
