Hareline Ez Magic Dub
Hareline Ez Magic Dub is a fine, continuous body material for building fly bodies, particularly on small patterns such as Palomino Midges. It makes it possible to form a neat, slender body without preparing a separate dubbing loop. The material is suited to patterns where the body should remain compact and have a controlled, delicate structure.
Construction and use
Tie the material in at the body-starting point on the hook shank, then wind it forward in close, adjoining turns. Control the body length and thickness by adjusting the number of turns; on small hooks, use only enough material to keep the finished fly slim. Secure the material in front of the body, trim the waste and finish the head. Hareline Ez Magic Dub also suits straightforward insect imitations and small streamers that call for a compact body rather than a bulky profile.
