Hareline Fine Black Barred Marabou Feathers

Hareline Fine Black Barred Marabou Feathers are loose marabou feathers with a fine black barred pattern. Their soft fibres move freely in the water, making them suitable for streamers and other flies that require a full, mobile profile. The black bars add clear contrast and help define the outline of the material.

Construction and use

Use these feathers for tails, wings and other full, mobile streamer components. Marabou fibres settle softly and pulse during the retrieve. Gentle handling preserves their natural fullness, while a few controlled thread wraps keep the feather moving freely. Select individual feathers according to the length and volume required by the fly pattern.
