Hareline Fly Enhancer Legs
Hareline Fly Enhancer Legs are prepared strands supplied in deliberately mixed colour combinations. They can be tied as legs, feelers, tails or short mobile accents on flies and streamers. Combining several colours in one section makes it possible to add contrast without joining separate materials for every tie-in point.
Construction and use
Separate the section into the number of strands required by the pattern, either by splitting the bundle or by pulling out individual fibres. Secure them with short, controlled thread wraps and set them symmetrically on both sides of the fly. Choose a length that allows free movement for legs, and trim the strands for feelers or tails after tying. When using them as a side accent, leave the ends at slightly different lengths and reinforce the tie-in point with a small amount of varnish or adhesive compatible with the material. Individual variants use different colour combinations, so select the arrangement that suits the fly’s size and colour scheme.
