Hareline Fly-Tying Spool Hands

Fly Tying Spool Hands by Hareline are flexible retainers made for standard small spools of fly-tying material. Each retainer stretches around a spool and holds the wound material in place, helping prevent thread, floss, tinsel or wire from unravelling during storage and use at the vise.

The working end is fed through the hole in a small bead fitted to the elastic band. This arrangement lets you draw off the required length smoothly, cut it, and leave the remaining material secured on the spool and ready for the next use. The retainer helps organise the tying bench without transferring material to another holder. The package contains 5 pieces.
