Hareline Icelandic Sheep Hair
Hareline Icelandic Sheep Hair is loose, long Icelandic sheep hair for flowing streamer wings and larger fly profiles. It produces a slim bunch with moving tips and is tied directly as loose hair rather than handled as a prepared hide strip.
Construction and use
Select fibres to suit the hook length, remove short or loose material from the butts, and align the tips. The bunch can be tied directly to the shank, placed in a loop, or combined with other fibres. Secure it progressively so the wing remains slim while the tips extend freely behind the hook.
