Hareline Medium Krystal Hackle

Hareline Medium Krystal Hackle is a prepared one-sided synthetic fibre strip for bodies, collars, legs and synthetic hackle. The fibres move freely in water and can provide a soft, marabou-like action, while the material remains a tying strip rather than a natural feather.

Construction and use

Secure the strip by its core or base, then wind it around the hook shank while sweeping the fibres back before each turn. This keeps the fibre direction and density under control. Leave the fibres full length, shorten their tips, or use only a selected section when a smaller collar, leg assembly or body segment is required.
