Hareline Polar Reflector Flash Chenille

Hareline Polar Reflector Flash Chenille is a long-fibre chenille for broad streamer bodies. Its translucent fibres undulate in the water, while micro-cut reflective strips placed among them produce distinct points of reflected light. The material builds a full baitfish profile that can remain soft and mobile or be trimmed to the shape required by the pattern.

Construction and use

Expose a short section of the core before tying it in. Wrap the chenille in adjacent turns, sweeping the fibres back before each rotation so they retain their volume and are not trapped. After finishing, brush the material out or trim it with scissors. It can be used for large streamers, pike, sea-trout and saltwater flies, as well as baitfish imitations where a mobile body with reflective accents is required.
