Hareline Rabbit Strip is a strip of rabbit fur, cut lengthwise along the hide. The soft hair builds mobile streamer wings, tails and backs, and adds body to larger patterns without using loose fur.

Construction and use

Square the hide end before tying and remove stray fibres from the tie-in area. Trim and tie down the excess near the head. Run the strip lengthwise along the shank as a wing, tail or back and secure the hide at carefully chosen points.

  • Material: natural rabbit fur.
  • Form: longitudinal zonker strip.
  • Mounting: run the strip lengthwise and secure the hide at selected points.
  • Uses: streamers with a soft, mobile profile.
