Hareline Ringneck Pheasant Tail Feathers
Hareline Ringneck Pheas. Tail Feathers are ringneck pheasant tail feathers for classic nymph materials and many other fly components. The pack contains 2 feathers. Slender fibres can be tied individually, in small bunches or wound as a body material, according to the pattern and the required profile.
Construction and use
This is a basic material for the Pheasant Tail Nymph, also known in Polish angling tradition as “Brązka”. The feathers suit tails and legs on nymphs, mayflies and wet flies, and can form bodies on dry flies. Individual fibres work as antennae on caddis patterns and pupae. Cut fibres can also be used as dubbing for cased-caddis imitations.
