Hareline Ripple Ice Dub
Hareline Ripple Ice Dub is a crimped synthetic dubbing with fibres approximately 5 cm long and a multi-directional pearlescent reflection. The rippled structure catches light from changing angles and increases volume without requiring the material to be packed tightly. Its fibres are longer and more three-dimensional than those of a conventional dubbing intended for slim abdomens.
Construction and use
Place the material in a dubbing loop, wrap it and brush it out firmly. It can form collars, bodies and streamer heads, while smaller portions work on larger nymphs. Compared with Ripple Ice Fiber, this version is finer and easier to wrap as dubbing; the Fiber version is better suited to loose wings, tails and free fibres.
