Hareline Ripple Ice Fiber
Hareline Ripple Ice Fiber consists of loose, crimped synthetic fibres with pearlescent flash. Although listed with dubbings, it behaves primarily as a free-fibre material: strands can be aligned, blended, layered or subsequently secured in a dubbing loop. The ripple maintains volume and scatters reflections without adding substantial weight to the fly.
Construction and use
Small bunches form tails, wings, lateral lines and bright accents in streamers. When cut shorter or placed in a loop, the fibres also produce brushed collars and heads. Compared with Ripple Ice Dub, the Fiber version remains longer and freer, giving the tier more control over the direction and length of individual strands.
