Hareline Senyo's Micro Fusion Foil Barred Legs are prepared silicone strands with a Fusion Foil finish and contrasting bars. Their micro width suits fine nymph, dry-fly and small streamer legs, or a controlled reflective accent when a full-size leg material would be too prominent. The strands are ready to tie in rather than cut from a sheet.

Construction and use

Separate the tab into the number of strands required and secure them at the chosen tie-in point with loose thread wraps before tightening the hold. The position of the tie-in controls the finished leg length; trim and align the tips after the material is fixed. Match the barred colour treatment to the fly size and keep only as much of the reflective surface exposed as the pattern calls for. The fine strands can also serve as short feelers or tails on compact patterns.
