Hareline Senyodelic Bead Chain
Hareline Senyodelic Bead Chain is a bead chain with a pearly metallic, oil-slick finish for making lightweight fly eyes. Cut off one pair at a time and tie it crosswise into crab, shrimp, Intruder-style or streamer patterns where the eyes should add profile and reflection.
Construction and use
Cut the chain into pairs of the required width, then secure the pair crosswise to the hook shank or fly structure. Bead chain provides less ballast than lead dumbbells, so it suits patterns in which the eyes should have limited influence on sinking speed. Select the pair in proportion to the hook and dressing, and keep the eye position secure with firm thread wraps.

- Preparation: cut the continuous chain into individual eye pairs.
- Mounting: tie each pair crosswise and lock it in place with thread.
