Hareline Senyos Aqua Veil Chenille
Hareline Senyo's Aqua Veil Chenille is a synthetic long-fibre material for building bodies, collars and synthetic hackle on wet flies and streamers. The fibres create a soft, mobile profile, while the shiny strands add a reflective element to the finished fly without changing the tying method.
Construction and use
Tie in the material by its core, then wrap it in adjacent turns along the hook shank. Sweep the long fibres rearward before every turn so they remain free rather than being trapped beneath the next wrap. Once secured, comb the fibres and shape them with scissors to control the volume of the body or collar. On streamers, it can form a mobile thorax section or a flowing element around the hook. The same preparation works for compact wet-fly bodies and broader profiles.
- Form: synthetic chenille with long fibres.
- Profile: soft and mobile, with fibres working around the body.
- Finish: strands with a shiny, reflective character.
