Hareline Spiked Sr Tail

Hareline Spiked Sr Tail is a preformed elastic tail with flexible side projections. It is made for worm, insect, shrimp and selected streamer patterns. Tie it in by the base, leaving the working section outside the thread wraps so the tail and its side projections remain part of the finished profile.

Construction and use

Select the size for the hook: Small is for 6–12, Medium for 1–4, and Large for 1/0 and larger. Secure the base firmly without compressing the working section. When stretched, the tail can be marked with a waterproof marker where the pattern calls for bands or segmentation. Keep the side projections free.

• Form: preformed elastic tail with flexible side projections.
• Small: for hooks 6–12, about 3 cm long, 8 pieces per pack.
• Medium: for hooks 1–4, about 5 cm long, 7 pieces per pack.
• Large: for hooks 1/0 and larger, about 7 cm long, 6 pieces per pack.
• Attachment: secure the base and leave the working section and side projections free.
