Hareline Two Toned Rabbit Strips

Hareline Two Toned Rabbit Strips are longitudinally cut rabbit fur strips, produced in two-tone colour combinations. They are intended mainly for streamer wings, tails and backs, where the contrast between the two tones remains visible in the fly profile.

Construction and use

Measure a strip against the required length and tie it in hide-first, directing the hair toward the rear of the fly. Part the hair at the tie-in point so the thread grips the hide cleanly without creating a bulky attachment. The longitudinal format can also be used as a mobile tail or applied over a short section of body while keeping the hair running toward the rear.
