Hareline UV Chewee Skin

Hareline UV Chewee Skin is a pliable, flexible sheet with a UV-A-reflective surface. It can be cut for bodies, wingcases and nymph backs. The material suits both individual components and larger profiles formed around an underbody.

Construction and use

Choose a shape to match the hook and prepared body. Trace the shape, cut it with sharp scissors and tie in one end at the rear when the material is to be stretched over the body. Guide it towards the eye under moderate tension, smooth the surface and secure the front with tying thread. For a wingcase, leave material at the sides to shape and trim the edges. The Glow in the Dark finish glows in darkness.
