Hareline UV Lite Flex Wrap

Hareline UV Lite Flex Wrap is a flexible, windable body wrap for building fly and streamer bodies. It forms a continuous strip around the hook shank, while its UV finish provides a reflective appearance and a response to ultraviolet light.

Construction and use

Tie in the end of the wrap securely, keep steady tension, and wind it in adjacent turns from the rear of the body toward the hook eye. Turns may be placed closely together for a compact covering, or spaced slightly when a more visible segmented effect is wanted. Secure the material with thread before trimming the waste and finishing the head. Flex Wrap is suited to streamer bodies, wet-fly patterns and other designs that call for a flexible strip with a reflective surface. Adjust the overlap and tension to control the body profile without stretching the material excessively.

• Form: flexible body wrap intended to be wound on the hook shank.
• Finish: UV treatment that reacts to or reflects ultraviolet light.
• Profile: continuous, even body formed by successive wraps.
• Uses: streamer bodies, wet flies and patterns requiring a shimmering accent.
