Hareline UV Polar Chenille
Hareline UV Polar Chenille is a long-fibre chenille intended to be wound on a hook shank. It builds a soft, mobile streamer body and can also form a full collar or palmered synthetic hackle. The fibres have a UV-reactive or UV-reflective treatment.
Construction and use
Expose a short section of the core before securing the material to create a reliable tie-in point. Wind the chenille in adjacent turns, sweeping the long fibres back before each turn. They may be left full and mobile, or controlled by trimming to suit the intended profile. Choose the material when a fly calls for a broader, moving body rather than a compact chenille silhouette.
- Form: long-fibre chenille for winding.
- Finish: UV-treated fibres with no afterglow.
- Profile: soft, full and mobile.
