Hareline Wire Free Synthetic Fox Brushes

Hareline Wire Free Synthetic Fox Brushes are ready-made synthetic-fibre brushes held on a thread core. The absence of wire makes the material easy to adapt to the fly and allows mobile, fibre-rich streamer components to be built. Each package contains four pieces of approximately 35 cm.

Construction and use

Tie in the brush by its thread core, then wind it as a prepared hackle while sweeping the fibres back before each turn. Secure the end with thread and shape the fibres with your fingers or trim them to the required profile. A section can be used in a wing, tail or collar, or wound along a streamer body. Adjust the number of turns to the density and silhouette required by the pattern.
