Hedron Flashabou Glo
Hedron Flashabou Glo consists of flat reflective flash strands for streamer wings, sides and tails. After exposure to light, the material produces a phosphorescent glow, adding a visible accent to a fly in lower-light conditions. Its flat form reflects light as the streamer moves, while the fine strands remain mobile in water. Use it sparingly as a layer in a wing or as a small tail accent rather than forming a heavy, compact bundle that restricts movement.
Construction and use
Flashabou Glo can be combined with synthetic hair, natural hair or other strands to build a baitfish profile. Separate a few strands, align their ends and secure them firmly on the hook shank. Once the material is set in the wing, trim it to the required tail length or shape it with the surrounding fibres. Expose the material to light before fishing so the phosphorescent glow is charged.
