Hedron Fuzy Fiber

Hedron Fuzy Fiber is a very soft, fine hydrophobic synthetic fibre for building streamer wings and baitfish profiles. Its crimped structure adds body without requiring a heavy bundle, while the material sheds water and retains free movement after the fly is cast. It can be used on its own or layered with other fibres to build a graduated profile that suggests the volume and outline of a small baitfish.

Construction and use

Take small pinches from the loose material and secure each bundle firmly on the hook shank. Separate the fibres, stack or layer them as required, then taper or trim the ends to shape the wing. The crimp provides fullness, but an overly dense bundle can restrict movement, so use only enough material to achieve the intended profile.
