Hedron Holographic Flashabou Magnum

Hedron Magnum Holographic Flashabou consists of broad, flat flash strands with a distinct holographic reflection. Small additions of this material can enrich a plain wing, tail or streamer side, while the changing reflection helps define the fly’s profile as it is retrieved. The amount is easy to control by selecting the number of strands used in the construction.

Construction and use

Cut a small bundle, even the tips and secure it firmly on the hook shank. The strands can be separated to the sides, placed beneath synthetic hair, or added between successive wing layers. On larger streamers, control the width by trimming gradually after the material is secured. Leave room for movement instead of making the entire profile excessively dense.
