Hedron Polar Flash

Hedron Polar Flash is made from loose, fine reflective synthetic strands. The material is soft and light, so properly secured fibres can wave freely in the water. It is suited to adding flash without making an entire wing rigid; a small amount also works as an accent in streamer patterns where mobility is important.

Construction and use

Select a few fibres, even the tips and tie them in as a small bundle on the hook shank. Combine them with synthetic hair, divide them along the sides of a wing, or use them as a tail accent. When more volume is needed, add several light layers rather than one dense bunch. The ends can be tapered or trimmed after the bundle has been secured.
