Hydropsyche Tan/Orange is a weighted nymph imitating Hydropsyche caddis larvae. Choose it for trout and grayling in rivers with a defined current when fish are holding close to the bottom, in stony channels and below riffles. Fish it by short-line nymphing or under an indicator, allowing the fly to drift freely close to the bottom.

The orange accent increases contrast in faster or slightly elevated water. Size #8 is suited to strong currents, while #12 is better for cautious feeding. The hook is barbless.
