Negnon Gear Retractor Rectangle

Negnon Gear Retractor Rectangle is a retractable tether for keeping frequently used fishing equipment connected to the angler. The extending wire lets the attached item be moved away from the body when required, then draws it back towards the housing after use. It is particularly useful for a wading staff and other accessories that need to remain accessible while walking, wading or changing position along the bank.

The retractor extends to a maximum overall length of 90 cm. Its rectangular housing contains a 70 cm stainless-steel wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm. The case measures 4 x 7 cm, making it straightforward to allow for its size when arranging equipment on a fishing vest, bag or belt. For smooth operation, draw the wire out steadily and avoid sudden pulls, sharp bends or twisting.

After fishing, remove any sand or sediment, rinse the retractor with fresh water and allow it to dry with the wire returned to the housing. Check the wire and the equipment connection points before each session, especially when the retractor is used while wading. This model is intended to organise gear and reduce the chance of an accessory being put down or left behind; it is not personal safety equipment and must not be used to support the angler’s weight.
