Negnon Omega Orionis ULT Presentation Fly Line
Negnon Omega Orionis ULT Presentation is designed for fishing situations in which controlled fly delivery and a composed finish to the cast matter. This floating WF fly line has a presentation-led character, giving the angler time to shape the loop and manage how the fly reaches its target. It is particularly suited to deliberate dry-fly or nymph presentation, where accuracy depends on measured energy transfer rather than simply accelerating the line as hard as possible.
Its handling is defined by a Delta-shaped head. This profile is designed to transfer energy progressively towards the fly, rather than sending it abruptly into the front of the line. A long front section supports controlled presentation, allowing the caster to manage the final turnover according to the fly, leader and conditions. The result is a line that responds clearly to changes in the casting stroke and rewards thoughtful control of loop shape and speed.
Profile and fishing use
The WF configuration places the casting mass in the head, followed by a slimmer running line. Within the Delta profile, energy travels progressively along the head and onwards towards the fly. This lets the angler influence the developing loop during both the acceleration and finishing phases of the cast. The long front section helps distribute the remaining energy in a controlled manner, which is useful when the fly and leader need to be placed with care rather than simply turned over as quickly as possible.
The family covers WF2F through to WF6F, allowing the same presentation-focused character to be matched with a range of tackle classes. The F designation identifies the line as floating throughout. Its profile will suit anglers refining their casting technique as well as experienced users who consciously adjust loop form, turnover speed and the point at which the fly settles. The emphasis remains on managing the head and front section with precision.
The fly line has a total length of 30 m. Its very slick, silky Hi-Silk coating promotes smooth passage through the rod guides and unimpeded handling of the running line. Beneath the coating is a low-stretch braided core, helping movements of the rod reach the line with a direct, easily read response. The HI-Float front section is made to remain well supported at the surface during presentation. A factory-fitted front loop provides a straightforward leader connection, while printed identification makes the line type and class easy to check.
