Orange Indicator Black Foam Beetle

Orange Indicator Black Foam Beetle is a dry fly imitating a beetle, intended for fishing on the surface. Use it from late spring through to autumn, when terrestrial insects fall into the water from vegetation and overhanging branches. The orange indicator makes the fly easier to track in faster currents and lower light.

Fish it on a dead drift close to the bank. The pattern is intended for trout, grayling, chub and ide, and the barbless hook makes releasing fish easier.
