Partridge NFD Nordic Down-Eye Fly Double Fly Hooks

Partridge NFD Nordic Down-Eye Fly Double is a short-shank double hook for modern Scandinavian patterns and contemporary hair-wing flies. Its construction combines strength with hook-setting characteristics and is suited to use in a range of water conditions.

Design and use

The short shank limits body length and supports a compact fly. It is useful when a hair wing or other material should remain clearly separated from the body. Because this is a double hook, materials should be distributed evenly on both sides of the fly’s axis to maintain a stable profile. The model can be selected for both traditional and contemporary salmon-fly constructions.
