Partridge SLD-J Surehold Jig Fly Hooks

Partridge SLD-J Surehold Jig is a barbless hook for competition and Euro Nymph jig patterns, Perdigons and other flies tied with slotted tungsten beads. The standard shank provides space for the compact proportions commonly used in weighted nymph dressings.

Design and use

The needle point, forged sproat bend and beaked point give the hook its jig-pattern geometry. When tying, leave enough room behind the bead for the body and thorax so the dressing does not become crowded and the gape remains clear. It is suited to patterns in which a tungsten bead and compact body are intended to fish close to the riverbed.
