Partridge ST Patriot Salmon Stinger Fly Hooks

Partridge ST Patriot Salmon Stinger is a short-shank stinger hook for salmon, sea-trout and steelhead flies. It can be used as a flying hook on tubes, on a Waddington shank or in other long-shank constructions when a separate rear hook is required.

Design and use

A forged round bend is combined with standard wire and a short shank. The hook has a slight offset and an up-eye. Take this layout into account when attaching it to a tube or Waddington shank, and when planning the amount of material behind the main body. The short shank helps keep the rear component compact while leaving the point clear to work.
