Partridge SWW Still Water Wide Fly Hooks

Partridge SWW Still Water Wide is a barbless hook for contemporary stillwater fly patterns. The stated applications include Blobs, FABs, Crunchers, small lures and other related flies used in stillwater fishing, giving the tier a compact platform for patterns with a concentrated body.

Design and use

Heavy wire, a forged bend and a short shank form a compact base for flies whose body or thorax is kept within a limited hook length. Match the material volume to the short shank and keep the hooking area around the point clear. Its barbless format suits rigs where a hook without a barb is required.
