Partridge X2B Long Shank Down Eye Treble Black (10)

Partridge X2B Long Shank Down Eye Treble Black (10) is a long-shank treble hook for salmon flies. The long shank provides an extended tying platform, while the outpoint format supports slim salmon-fly profiles with materials distributed along the length of the hook.

Design and use

When tying salmon flies, use the long shank to space the body, hackle and wing over a greater length. Keep the three points clear and leave a defined hooking area around the bend. The black finish suits both traditional and contemporary salmon patterns, depending on the colour scheme of the finished fly.
