Peak Portable Led Tying Light
Peak Portable Led Tying Light is a vise-stem-mounted LED work light designed for the fly-tying bench. Its distinguishing features are wide-angle illumination and full-spectrum white light, allowing the colours of feathers, threads and dubbing blends to be assessed without the tint associated with some light sources. The beam covers both the fly in the jaws and the surrounding work area rather than producing only a narrow spot.
The LED source uses minimal power and runs cool, with the housing remaining cool to the touch even after a full day of tying. A 20″ flexible gooseneck lets the lamp head be positioned over the required part of the bench and redirected without moving the vise. The mounting bracket fits every PEAK vise stem, the PEAK Accessory Shaft and other vise stems measuring 3/8″ in diameter.
An integral tool holder is built into the mounting bracket, keeping frequently used scissors, a whip finisher or a bodkin close to the tying area. Lightweight construction makes the lamp easier to move between a permanent bench and a travelling setup. The supplied wall transformer provides 9 VDC at 500 mA.
