Peak Profile Plate adds a clean, uniform background behind the fly at the tying workstation. Its oval plate reduces the distraction caused by tools, materials and other objects visible on the bench, making it easier to judge the fly’s outline, proportions and placement of small components. The uncluttered background is useful while tying and can also be used when photographing finished flies.

The mounting holder fits 3/8 in diameter vise stems and the PEAK Accessory Shaft. Compatibility is determined by the stem diameter rather than by membership of a particular vise series. An adjustable wire frame lets you position the plate closer to or farther from the fly, adapting the background area to the pattern and workstation layout. When setting it up, leave sufficient clearance so that the plate and frame do not interfere with the jaws or tying materials.
