Pheasant Tail Nymph Tungsten Bead
Pheasant Tail Nymph Tungsten Bead is a nymph from the Pheasant Tail family of patterns. The famous Pheasant Tail Nymph was developed for the Hampshire Avon by English river keeper Frank Sawyer. This modern version with a tungsten bead imitates mayfly nymphs.
Choose it for trout and grayling in deeper channels and faster currents. Fish it on a short-line nymphing rig, beneath an indicator or as the heavier fly in a team. The tungsten bead gets the nymph quickly into the near-bed zone. Barbless hook.
