Pink Indicator Black Beetle

Pink Indicator Black Beetle is a dry fly imitating a beetle, intended for use from late spring through to autumn. The pink indicator makes the fly easier to see on broken water and in shade, helping with presentation beneath overhanging branches and beside undercut banks. Choose smaller sizes when fish are taking smaller insects.

Fish it on a dead drift when trout, grayling, chub and ide are taking terrestrial insects. The fly is tied on a barbless hook.
