Scud Brown

Scud Brown is a weighted scud nymph, representing a crustacean found among vegetation, stones and deposited material on the riverbed. Use it in quieter runs, marginal slack water and anywhere fish are collecting small food below the surface.

Fish it slowly and close to the bottom, on a short-line nymph or beneath an indicator. A trout and grayling pattern, tied on barbless hooks in sizes #12–#18.
