Scud Olive
Scud Olive is a weighted nymph imitating a scud, an important food source for trout and grayling in waters with vegetation. Choose the olive version for slower river sections, bottom runs and places where the current washes crustaceans from beneath stones and vegetation.
Fish it low on a short nymph rig or under an indicator, allowing a free drift without unnecessary restraint. In deeper water, it can be used as the lead fly in a rig. Tied on a barbless hook.
