Sparkle Organza
Hareline Sparkle Organza is a woven organza from which bright fibres can be drawn for dry-fly and emerger wings, trailing shucks and streamer accents. To prepare a tying bundle, tease or draw fibres from a cut edge and gather them evenly.
Construction and use
Cut a section of organza and gently loosen the fibres along one cut edge. Draw out the amount required, then level or lightly taper the bundle. Secure it to the hook shank with controlled thread wraps; for wings, match the length on both sides, while a shuck can be left as a slim trailing accent. The released fibres may also be gathered into a denser streamer wing, provided the thread pressure does not crush the bundle. Trim the finished bundle only after its position and proportions have been checked.
