Spirit River All Around Estaz Dk Colors

Spirit River All Around Estaz Dk Colors is a reflective, long-fibre material made to be wound on a hook shank. It builds full, mobile streamer and trout-fly bodies, and can also form a synthetic hackle or a bright accent near the head. The material is supplied on a practical dispenser that organizes six spools.

Construction and use

Before winding, expose a short section of the core by sweeping the fibres aside, then secure that section firmly to the shank. Make close adjoining turns, brushing the fibres rearward before each turn so they remain free rather than trapped underneath the next wrap. The number of turns controls the body width, while the fibres provide a mobile surface. Finish with a rib or thread wraps and secure the material before trimming it away.
