Spirit River Brite Blend

Spirit River Brite Blend combines the popular Diamond Brite with softer synthetic fibres. The result is a blend that offers clear flash while remaining fuller and easier to shape than a purely hard, sparkling material. It dubs readily onto thread, and teasing the finished body brings out a lively, reflective surface with plenty of texture.

Construction and use

Brite Blend is suited to flashy streamer bodies, nymphs and Brashy-style patterns where the body should show light and retain a slightly buggy outline. The softer fibres help build volume, while the Diamond Brite element adds sparkle across the surface. Once the material is twisted onto the thread, work a dubbing brush along the body in even strokes. This is the practical way to separate the fibres and create the full, buggy finish for which the blend is intended.
