Spirit River Yak Streamer Hair
Spirit River Yak Streamer Hair is long, straight yak hair supplied loose for streamer and saltwater-fly wings where length and a clear profile are useful.
Construction and use
Select fibres of similar length, remove loose underfur and even the tips before tying them in. Place the bundle on the hook shank and control both its bulk and tie-in point; several layers can be used to build a wing with a defined outline. The long fibres also suit larger salmon flies and streamer patterns.
- Material: natural, long and straight yak hair.
- Form: loose hair to measure and tie in as bundles.
- Uses: streamer wings and saltwater-fly wings.
