Sprite S2170 Barbless Yorkshire Sedge Bronze Fly Hooks (50)

Sprite S2170 Barbless Yorkshire Sedge Bronze is a barbless hook for sedges, nymphs, emergers, wet flies and soft-hackles or spiders. The wide gape leaves room for the body and hackle, allowing full proportions without bringing the dressing too close to the point. The bronze finish suits natural-looking imitative patterns.

Design and use

The hook combines a needle point and forged bend with a modified Limerick profile. Its up-eye guides thread and materials towards the head, while the wide gape helps preserve clear space around the point. This geometry supports sedges with hackle, emergers and classic wet flies, with proportions adjusted to the chosen pattern. The barbless design is practical for fish handling.
