Sprite S2400 Barbless Wide Jig Black Nickel Fly Hooks (50)

Sprite S2400 Barbless Wide Jig Black Nickel is a barbless jig hook for a range of competition nymph patterns. Its short shank and standard wire form a compact foundation, while the wide gape leaves room for a fuller body and clear fly proportions. The black nickel finish suits both modern and understated nymph designs.

Design and use

The hook features a needle point, modified Sproat bend and down-eye. The wide gape allows dubbing, chenille and other materials to be arranged in a defined profile without crowding the point. The short shank supports compact nymphs, while the jig format is appropriate for patterns intended to fish close to the bottom. The barbless construction supports easier fish handling.
