Sprite S2480 Barbless Deep Wide Wet Bronze Fly Hooks (50)

Sprite S2480 Barbless Deep Wide Wet Bronze is a barbless hook for emergers, nymphs, classic wet flies and soft-hackles. Its heavier wire and deep, wide bend provide a strong foundation for fuller patterns that need clear space beneath the body. The bronze finish suits natural-looking dressings.

Design and use

The hook has a needle point, forged bend, modified Limerick profile, straight eye and an offset point. The straight eye keeps the head area orderly and provides a direct thread path, while the wide geometry leaves room for hackle and a substantial body. Emergers, nymphs and wet flies can be tied to suit the deeper profile while keeping the point clear. The barbless form is practical for fish handling.
