Stonfo Parachute Plier

Stonfo Parachute Plier (Art. 482) is a stem-mounted, spring-loaded plier that adds a fixed material-holding point to the fly-tying workstation. It grips the wing-post material and keeps it upright above the hook, leaving both hands free to wrap the hackle and control the tying thread around the base of the post.

The plier mount is designed for an accessory stem with a diameter of 5 mm. Once fitted, position it above the hook so that the post material is held under light tension without being pulled out of alignment. The plier does not replace the vise jaws and is not intended to hold the hook. The pack contains one plier; a suitable stem or support arm, vise and other accessories are not included.
