Stonfo Pinza Elite Hackle Plier Midge

Stonfo Pinza Elite Hackle Plier Midge is a compact hackle plier designed for precise work on hook sizes #14–24. Instead of conventional finger-squeezed jaws, it uses a spring-loaded locking mechanism. Pressing the round collar exposes the grabber; releasing it locks the material in the groove. Smooth contact surfaces help reduce fraying and breakage when delicate feathers are secured and wound.

The ring-shaped handle fits over a finger, allowing the entire tool to be guided around the hook shank while tension and material position are controlled with one hand. The Midge version is sized for fine hackles and small patterns, but its clamp can also hold CDC, microchenille, tinsel and thin lead wire. The mechanism makes short or delicate sections easier to handle without continuously squeezing a conventional plier handle.
